Technology Manager

ABBEYS has been specialising in effective acquisition of grants for industry investments from European Union funds for 18 years. Our two offices in Warsaw and Kraków employ more than 60 specialists handling the projects of our clients (including project managers, project engineers, financial analysts, attorneys, tax advisors, accountants). Our clients include both industry leaders and Polish family enterprises. Due to our dynamic development we are looking for a candidate for full-time employment at our Warsaw office at the position of: Technology Manager

Scope of duties

Supervision over the correct preparation of descriptions for the preparation and implementation of enhanced production technologies for enterprises operating in various industries (defining TRLs at the start and completion of works on the technology, methodology of preparation/ implementation of technology, agenda of works, milestones, technological risks).
Personal preparation of descriptions for the preparation and implementation of enhanced production technologies for enterprises operating in various industries (defining TRLs at the start and completion of works on the technology, methodology of preparation/ implementation of technology, agenda of works, milestones, technological risks).
Supervision over the timely preparation of all of the above-mentioned descriptions for the preparation and implementation of enhanced technologies in order to enable the submitting of EU grant application.
Close cooperation with project manager, project engineer and other members of the team responsible for the preparation of EU documentation. Ongoing contact with the client at all management levels, including particularly the technical staff representing the client.

Requirements

Obligatory higher education at technical university at the level of PhD in Technical Engineering received from the faculties/ chairs of: chemistry, physics, material engineering, mechatronics or similar faculties at any Polish technical university.
Good knowledge of the principles of assessment of competitions under the Smart Growth Operational Programme in the years 2014-2020 due to personal participation in the assessment process as the expert of National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) or BGK (Polish development bank).
General knowledge of operational programmes in the outlook for 2021-2027.
Minimum 3 years of experience in EU project assessment in the role of NCBR, PARP or BGK expert.
Participation in the minimum of 3 implementations of new technologies in projects completed by large production enterprises (with or without the EU co-financing).
Minimum 3 years of experience in running a research institute operating at the technical university.
Command of English in speech and in writing at intermediate level would be an asset.
